We were part of something very special yesterday as our members made the 2 hour trek to the Paradise area to deliver a check for $45,000 to help build a new elementary school in Paradise. Ponderosa Elementary School burned down during the camp fire which has left the kids traveling over 30 minutes to school in the nearby town of Durham. Well our members thought they deserved better and with the help of our community, we raised $45,000 in just 15 minutes at our crab feed in March. There will be a new school in Paradise which the people of Vacaville will very much have a part in building. A true example of people helping people. Thank you to our incredible community for rallying around the kids, these teachers, and the amazing people of Paradise. ... See MoreSee Less
